"I'm sorry to tell you" is an original song by Goalie. Written by Goalie with lyrics by Deb Sonzo of 13-Monsters.
The music in the first part of the song was written and recorded on an iPhone using Garageband while I was on a plane flying from arctic Canada to Chicago. The second crescendo of the song was written and performed by Goalie while at home mending from surgery.
The vocals by Deb Sonzo were done in a hotel room in New York City after receiving some very bad news that day.

This song is not for everyone. I release it with a caveat. As part of the ongoing chapters in a cast of characters you may love it...you may find it sadly unlistenable. Either way I thank you for listening to it. It was very difficult to do. It took the better part of 2 years just to finish it because of the content. The moments...on a plane...on a couch in solitary healing..in a hotel room in New York...they all had to the right moments. It's an unapologetic chapter that we hope you find meaning in.
